He is enjoying Boy Scouts and will be going for his first Board of Review for his Tenderfoot badge next week. He is just flying along with his progress. If he continues in this manner, he will have his 2nd Class by the end of the school yr.
This is Sport - and he will be 10 in a couple of weeks. He is our "quiet" child (can't walk or even sleep w/out making some kind of noise) and chose to play the trumpet - no surprise there - in the ps band. He loves to play most sports but prefers baseball, he pitched this past spring, and is excited about trying football this fall. (Mom is too!!!) He is a first-yr Webelo in Cub Scouts and very busy w/ his new pack. His favorite colors have always been yellow and purple. He is excited to be getting his big bike from Gramma and Grampa R for his birthday. I can't get over how much he looks like my dad.
Both boys are very active and love to be outside. They are creative and come up with some of the neatest things. Give Scout a rope and he will entertain himself forever. Sport can do that with balls of all kinds. Add trees, bikes, wood, and dirt into the mix and they are content for hours! Typical Boys!!!
